Altar Guild Print

The Altar Guild is a group within the church who prepare the table for Holy Communion and for other special services. It is not a social group, but rather teams of two who are responsible for a two week period of time. The work involves the changing of hangings for the appropriate occasions, setting up and cleaning up the altar for the individual services, the maintenance of the vessel used for communion and the placement of flowers on the altar. All communicants, male or female, are welcome to become members of the Altar Guild.
